I had inspiring teachers, I strive to inspire teenagers to love science like I did at school, and to do be successful.
I’ve had inspiring colleagues. I’ve put in time and energy into all the various facets of school life, with job satisfaction back in equal measure. I love learning, continually developing and using my skills, and passing on knowledge and understanding.

Teaching

Located in central Bristol, I’m available to help schools through delivering excellent teaching of physics and the sciences, part time and as supply. Keeping teenagers motivated, and inspired to learn and work hard is so important, as is keeping exam classes on track.

I also deliver a ‘physics of windsurfing’ lecture which includes use of multimedia and the real equipment for interactive (dry!) demonstration/simulation.

Private Tuition

I have experience of physics teaching at A2, AS, GCSE and key stage 3; Chemistry teaching to year 10 and Biology to key stage 3. I have worked with a number of tutees covering all the sciences at GCSE, with AQA and OCR exam boards.
I currently have space in my timetable for AS and A2 physics pupils.
