The kettlebell is the ultimate ‘one tool for all’ for fitness, strength and conditioning. Many parts of the body are exercised simultaneously for more effective cardiovascular training as well as building strength and endurance. We use ballistic swinging movements as well as more traditional press and squat exercises. The stabilising muscles engage with each movement to emphasise whole body exercise and core stabilisation. Technique goes hand in hand with strength; it is important to get the most out it.
NDM offers 2 types of group kettlebell classes:
Smaller groups of up to eight, using 8-24kg kettlebells with intensity, in a group training programme with plenty of individualisation. Vastly effective weight training:
Groups of up to 16, using 4-12kg kettlebells in an all-round and progressive exercise programme:
Once registered to Teamup , you’ll receive a welcome email with instructions.
A medical form must be completed in advance.
You will then receive the Url for the Zoom Online live class – please ensure that you have Zoom setup ready to run on your device,
connected to the biggest of your screens you have will be best.
Comfortable gym kit, towel, full water bottle and plenty of enthusiasm!
FOR THE ONLINE LIVE CLASS: At least 1 ‘medium’ size Kettlebell.

Car parking is available from 6pm at ‘Gate D’ , access from Elton Road,
Then head down University Road, turn onto Elmdale road and walk in the public entrance (up the steps) into the sports complex.
The gym and training area is on the first floor.
Changing, showers and Lockers available on basement floor.
Includes exercise descriptors with photos, a progressive 12-session program with detailed guidance and the link to the video library playlist of exercise demonstrations.
